Current employment opportunities

This position is a full-time advisory teacher in a Middle School classroom of students, 7th to 8th grade. The primary responsibility is to teacher humanities classes as directed by the level program director. Along with the responsibility for specific classes directed by the level program director, the teacher will work with other advisory teachers to build a cohesive classroom community and foster students’ love of learning.

To achieve the school mission, the teaching staff at Woodinville Montessori agrees to fulfill the following roles and responsibilities including but not limited to, chaperoning overnight field trips, including one week-long overnight, social events, leading after school clubs, or serving as a student advisor, etc. All faculty need to follow Montessori philosophy and meet every child for who, what and where they are. Montessori education seeks to find the unique path for each individual, not to force the individual into a predetermined path.

Humanities Advisory Teacher, Middle School - Job description

 

This position is a full-time intern teacher/program assistant in a Toddler classroom of children 1.5 to 3 years of age. This position’s responsibilities are to assist the Head Teacher in maintaining a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.

As an Intern, you will gradually be given opportunities and responsibilities to help you meet your training requirements and develop the competencies needed for effective teaching. Your role will include program assistant responsibilities including supervision of the children in either the before or after school program. As a member of our staff, you need to be committed to fulfilling Woodinville Montessori’s mission and vision.

This position is a full-time intern in an Upper Elementary classroom of students, 4th to 6th grade. The primary responsibility is to learn from and teach in partnership with mentor Montessori teacher As an Intern, you will gradually be given opportunities and responsibilities to meet your training requirements and develop the competencies needed for effective teaching.

Math & Science Advisory Teacher, High School - Job description

This position is a full-time assistant in an Early Childhood or Elementary classroom of children ages 3 to 12. The Program Assistant works to provide an engaging, nurturing prepared Montessori environment. 

The responsibilities include managing lunch, recess and naptime and helping supervise a safe and engaging before and after program for students. This individual is a detailed observer, creative thinker and collaborative teammate with a strong interest in Montessori philosophy and has a love for learning and children.
