Athletics, Electives & Clubs

Athletic, elective and club offerings are available three times per school year: fall, winter and spring. Offerings vary by season and program level. Additional registration fees apply and are not included in tuition. 

Athletics

We believe in the importance of organized movement to encourage the development of coordination, strength, motor function and physical fitness. Athletics are available for 1st through 12th grade students. In previous years, teams have included volleyball, basketball, co-ed soccer and more. Some sports compete within local leagues. 

Electives

Electives are available for 4.5 year old through 12th grade students at each campus. WMS offers a selection of electives that enhance our existing curriculum. From chess to robotics to parkour, there's an elective offering fit for every student! 

Clubs

Clubs are available for our 1st through 12th grade students. Club options vary each year as many are organized by our students and families. 

Orienteering

WMS has a tradition of fielding winning orienteering teams that compete in local, regional and national championship meets. The Orienteering Team is open to students in 1st through 12th grade. The team competes every other Saturday from November to spring in the Washington Interscholastic Orienteering League (WIOL). Please join us in congratulating WMS Class of 2023 student Zoe S. who made the 2022 USA Orienteering Junior Squad roster! Zoe was selected to represent the US at the Junior World Orienteering Championships in Aguiar da Beira, Portugal as part of the 2022 USA Team. You can learn more about Zoe's big achievement here.
