Athletics
We believe in the importance of organized movement to encourage the development of coordination, strength, motor function and physical fitness. After-school athletics are available for students at their campus. In previous years, teams have included volleyball, basketball, co-ed soccer and more. Additional registration fees apply and vary by offering. Offerings vary by level.

Orienteering
WMS has a tradition of fielding winning orienteering teams that compete in local, regional and national championship meets. The Orienteering Team is open to students in 1st through 12th grade. The team competes every other Saturday from November to spring in the Washington Interscholastic Orienteering League (WIOL). Please join us in congratulating WMS Class of 2023 student Zoe S. who made the 2022 USA Orienteering Junior Squad roster! Zoe was selected to represent the US at the Junior World Orienteering Championships (JWOC) in Aguiar da Beira, Portugal as part of the 2022 USA Team. Electives
After-school electives are available for Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle and High School students at each campus. WMS offers a selection of electives that enhance our existing curriculum. From chess to robotics to parkour, there's an elective offering fit for every student! Additional registration fees apply and vary by elective. Offerings vary by level.
