Community Care Day

Before Midwinter Break, Redwood Class (Upper Elementary) students put compassion into action during Community Care Day. Students worked together to assemble peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and pack lunches with fruit, chips, cookies, and juice, preparing 60 lunches and 35 snack bags.

The meals were delivered to The More We Love women’s shelter in Renton, and extra lunches were shared through their street outreach program, which brings food and support directly to people in need.

We are proud of how our students showed care, teamwork, and a desire to serve their community!
