Middle School Farmer’s Market & High School Art Sale

The Middle and High School students are excited to announce that their Spring Market is coming up on Friday, May 15, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. There will be food, drinks, art and crafts made by middle schoolers available for sale in the Community and Music Rooms in the Green Building. Encouraged by the success of the Winter Market in December, some of the high schoolers will also again be selling their art in Jupiter classroom (where Spiral Curriculum was laid out during the Art Walk). The students have spent the last four months working on their projects and are excited to share them with you all!

As usual, all proceeds made from the market will go toward off-setting the costs of the end-of-year overnight trips - during the second week of June, middle school will be taking a Pacific Northwest road trip, the 9th and 10th graders are going to San Diego and the 11th and 12th graders will be flying all the way to Boston!

We greatly appreciate your support of Student Business each year and look forward to seeing you at the Spring Market!

*Please know that Toddler, Early Childhood and Elementary students may not bring money to school. If you or your student(s) would like to purchase items, parents/guardians should plan to bring student(s) to the event after school from 3:15 to 5 p.m. Toddler through Elementary students are not able to attend the Spring Market on their own or with WMS staff.

    High School Play: Forest Surveillance

Bothell Campus, Green Bldg. - Drama Room
Please join us on Wednesday, May 20 at 5:30 p.m. at the WMS Bothell Campus for Forest Surveillance, an original collaboration created by our 9th and 10th grade drama students, with live, musical interludes composed and performed by our HS music students, and a full set created by the high school art class.

This production features seven short plays connected by themes of adolescence, emotions, friendship, and growth - change growth to loss, all set in a Pacific Northwest forest. The experience reflects Montessori values of collaboration, creativity, and student voice.
This performance is appropriate for Upper Elementary students and older and represents the culmination of a semester of deeply integrated, student-led work.

We look forward to welcoming Upper Elementary, Middle, and High School students and their families as we celebrate our students’ creative and collaborative play!
