The Impact of Community

With community being at the heart of Montessori, WMS is grateful for our community that has come together to show support for our school in countless ways since 1983. This is why today WMS can offer an authentic Montessori education for students 18 months through 18 years, preparing them for college and for life.

By spending time at our school in classrooms, after-school on the playground or attending or planning a special event, every student benefits from a fully committed and supportive community. WMS is fortunate to have broad participation at our school and welcome families to become involved through:

Active Participation:

We encourage active participation between parents and the school by volunteering in or out of the classroom, joining the Board of Trustees, or joining a committee and plan activities and events through the Family Alliance.
Philanthropy:

WMS has an unmistakable spirit of philanthropy, and we are grateful to our community of deeply committed parents, faculty and staff and invested trustees, alumni, grandparents, and friends, all of whom have regularly and voluntarily taken part in our school’s success and makes the school a top philanthropic priority.

Click here to make your gift to WMS online via credit card.
Check:

Checks should be made out to Woodinville Montessori School. Please mail to 19102 North Creek Parkway, Bothell, 98011.
Stocks and securities:

You can donate by wire transfer or stock electronically to our school’s brokerage account. The value of your gift and tax deduction is the mean price of the stock on the date of the transfer. For more information, please contact Laureen Ng by phone or email.
Corporate Matching:

To find out if your employer offers a matching program, contact your human resources office. Many companies will match charitable gifts given by their employees, which can double the size of your contribution to WMS. Some local companies with matching programs include Adobe, Boeing, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Expedia, Google, Microsoft, and Starbucks.
Volunteer Hours Matching:

Some corporate employers also offer monetary donations to match your volunteer hours served and we are grateful to all who request those donations on behalf of WMS by consulting your human resources office.
