WMS is pleased to host an author talk and community conversation on the impact of educational technology on students on Thursday, April 23.  Dr. Horvath—a neuroscientist, educator, and best-selling author—will share insights from his latest book, The Digital Delusion, exploring how the increasing use of technology in schools is affecting student learning and academic performance. Following his talk, Liz Hoyer, WMS Assistant Head of School and High School Program Director, will offer a perspective on how Montessori education thoughtfully responds to these trends and highlight the exceptional work happening at WMS in light of this research. This talk will be virtual only and open to all parents, guardians, educators, and anyone in the greater community interested in how children learn best in a digital age. Event link coming soon.
