Erica Johnson

Trustee
Erica’s family joined the WMS community in the fall of 2019, upon the recommendation of a family member and educator. Inspired by the camaraderie of faculty, staff, and students, Erica served as an Upper Elementary and Middle School room parent for 5 years. Her son, now in High School, continues to thrive as a WMS student and Erica is delighted to embark on this new chapter, serving on the WMS Board of Trustees.

A native of Colorado, Erica moved to Washington to attend the University of Puget Sound, where she completed her BA. After completing her master’s at WWU and working in vocational rehabilitation serving people with disabilities, Erica was recruited to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she completed her PhD in psychology. As soon as she completed her training, she made fast tracks back to her favorite part of the country and settled with her husband in Kirkland. Erica splits her professional time between research at the University of Washington’s Schools of Public Health and Medicine and her private practice focused on neurorehabilitation.
