Volunteer Coordination Committee

ABOUT THE VOLUNTEER COORDINATION COMMITTEE

The goal of the Volunteer coordination committee is to help connect and coordinate parents with volunteer opportunities available at the school and through the various Parent Association committees.

The Volunteer Coordination Committee serves as the liaison between parent volunteers and the Parent Association, and facilitates a variety of volunteer tasks throughout the year.  The responsibilities of the committee include: distributing data from the Parent Participation Forms (PPF) for use by each of the PA committees, connecting parent volunteers with PA committees, establishing a “PA lifeline” to support WMS families, teachers, and staff in crisis and helping recruit for open PA positions.

If you are interested in helping coordinate or track volunteers, being a room parent or parent ambassador, then the Volunteer Coordination Committee is the place for you. Volunteer opportunities occur throughout the year and start at one hour per month or more, depending on your availability and interests.
