Executive Committee

ABOUT THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

The goal of the Family Alliance Executive Committee is to help cultivate the growth and development of the Woodinville Montessori School community by using the schools mission as a guide for all Family Alliance activities.

The Executive Committee of the WMS Family Alliance operates under the guidance and approval of the Head of School and/or Director of Advancement.  It consists of the Family Alliance President, Family Alliance President-Elect, Communications Committee Chair (serves as Family Alliance Secretary), Volunteer Coordination Committee Chair, Room Parent Chair, Parent Ambassador Chair, Campus Representative and WMS Advancement Office Liaison. 

The Executive Committee is responsible for setting dates for and presiding over all meetings of the Family Alliance; managing the Family Alliance budget which is seeded with an allocation per student at the beginning of the school year; developing the Family Alliance calendar from year to year; maintaining a Family Alliance notebook with job descriptions for each member and activities throughout the year; filling Family Alliance Committee chair positions by May for the following year; ensuring that those in leadership roles adhere to a Code of Conduct suitable for school representatives; and reviewing and updating the Parent Participation Form by January 10 for the following academic year.
