ABOUT THE TEACHER AND STAFF APPRECIATION COMMITTEE
The goal of the Teacher & Staff Appreciation Committee is to brighten the school days for our teachers and staff by nurturing their bodies, minds and souls. We strive to make each staff member feel appreciated.
Our vision is of parent volunteers using their unique talents, ideas and resources to demonstrate staff appreciation.
The teacher and Staff Appreciation Committee is responsible for showing the teachers and staff at WMS how much they are appreciated by the parents and students. This committee provides treats, snacks and light luncheons, and coordinates birthday celebrations for teachers and staff members. The main events hosted by this committee are Teacher Appreciation week, the All-Staff Luncheon, and the Winter Holiday food event.
If you appreciate the work of our great teachers and staff members, then the Teacher and Staff Appreciation Committee is the place for you. Volunteer opportunities occur throughout the year and start at one hour per month or more, depending on your availability and interests.
