Letter from Head of School

Dear WMS Families and Friends,

The hearts and minds of so many people have gone into creating this wonderful school and making it what it is today!  We are focused now on honoring their legacy and investment by protecting it for future generations of students and teachers.  We now have a permanent site and can begin the process of transforming it into something that will change the school and the location forever.  More importantly, it will impact the lives of untold numbers of children, families and teachers in ways that we cannot predict.  We have taken an important step in guaranteeing the future of the school, and though we have some important and challenging work ahead, we are filled with energy and excitement at the opportunity to tackle it. Since 2000, our Board of Trustees has been working steadily to get the school back into the position of stability that a school-owned site provides. It has been a huge task with many steps along the way.   This section of the website tells the story of the journey that is underway, but not yet completed.   If you have questions or suggestions please contact me at mschneider@woodinvillemontessori.org.
